yellow Breaking chain sign

er this is the very first time I jump to Multiplayer online of ArmA II , there is a sign yellow broken chain everytime I got into play in the beginning. What is that ? is that normal ? :confused:

That´s the ping. Yellow means bad connection , red that the connection is very bad

Thank you :) , everytime I am connected and about to play why is it receiving files in numerous KBs , is that downloading some 3rd party map (unofficial or mod not from Bohemia Interactive) will change my vanilla ArmA II File ?

It's down loading the mission file, only happens the once.

Then the mission is stored in your mp mission cache.

No,the 'mp mission cache' is separate from them- it's d/loading the mission file cause you don't actually have it.

Now if you go on the same server, or another server running the same mission, you won't have to d/load it again. :cool:
