kekenmasta 1 Posted April 24, 2012 (edited) Hi, I've rented a dedi server to host some domination mission with my friends. My server provider relaunch the server everyday if it is empty. I'm looking for the way to launch a specific mission at server restart with specific parameters. I've seen that it must be set up in the server.cfg file with Map rotation entry. My problem is how can i identified the param number in my mission and what value should i set to play the mission. The Mission is Domination West OA 2.60zc Thanks in advance (sory for my poor english) Edited April 25, 2012 by kekenmasta precising
ck-claw 1 Posted April 25, 2012 (edited) NOt sure about map rotation? But to have Domination running 24/7 even when all players disconnected, look in server cfg and set 'persistent=1' Edited April 25, 2012 by ck-claw
kekenmasta 1 Posted April 25, 2012 Thanks for your response ck-klaws, but this parameters is already set to 1. The problem is that my server provider reboots Game server everyday. I don't want to enable map vote, so one of the 2 admins must log in and set mission and parameters. After few hours searching i've found that if i lauch in mission rotation the map we play ,it will be auto-launched after server reboot. I've found also that editing the description.ext allow me to set up the mission parameters that will be lauch by the server. I've managed to open pbo, to edit the description file, but i don't success in reacreating my pbo file. My mission is based on Xeno's Domination OA 2.60zc Takistan. Am i thinking the good way? If i'm right can someone point me on a good tutorial to make my PBO file, or to use the tools that Xeno delivered in his Domi 2.60zc package (make_adom,etc...).I've found none about make_dom. Thanks for support keken
ck-claw 1 Posted April 25, 2012 What tool did you use to un-pbo the mission? Most allow to repack as pbo. Failing that, move the un-pbo'ed mission folder to you user profile missions folder(my documents) Load up in the mission editor and then 'save' export to multiplayer, then will have your mission as a pbo.
