What's the AAR Addon? I've never heard of it, I'll research it and see how it can be compatible.

I believe he is helping other mods out to have it compatible on release.

Looks like this is coming together nicely. Great job!

If I may do a suggestion: As you can see on the pic below the paint isn't like pitch black, it's more like a very dark grey with a slight purple touch. It also has a very matte finish.

agreed with lennard. its a little too "shiny". looking great so far though!

Thanks for the feedback. I also agree with you both, it's not at 100% finished yet as I said in post as Im currently using 2 versions below the final version of Smiley_Nicks Chinook. I'm waiting for him to send me the latest Rvmats as this took the shine out the final version of his model. So once I've done that it should leave a dull/mat look on it. If its then still too black I will change it until its a bit more grey :)

Making the paint more of a dark grey vs black would definately make the specular shine stick out less. There are a few other things but you did mention Nick working on the rvmat and shine so for now I'll leave and say it's looking good. :)

Sorry havn't posted in a while. Regarding the texture and bright shine im pleased to say that it is now solved. Its now more dull and shines less in the sunlight. Thanks for Smiley_Nick for that fix. Also im currently thinking about scraping the whole model.. & well, using a new model ;) One that was very talked about back in its day ;) but relax, its a little surprise for you all if i decide to ;)

Well if you do start over be sure to consider everything that you will need to do for it. Starting over means not just a new model but a whole new UV set, the current one is a great opportunity because that is already done, and all parts are already decidedly sized. Furthermore you would also need to rename and set up the whole p3d model again, collision, fire geo, memory and so on. Not to mention LOD's.
