stk2008 14 Posted April 9, 2012 Ummm we need to know what your graphic settings are to. Check usual suspects to like anti virus programs running in back ground etc etc. How much memory do you have to you have seemed to have missed that out

stk2008 14 Posted April 9, 2012 drop the veiw distance to say 3000
oniveko 1 Posted April 9, 2012 drop the veiw distance to say 3000 even on medium settings which i think its 2000 viewdistance i still get low fps for some reason =( thanks
[frl]myke 14 Posted April 9, 2012 drop the veiw distance to say 3000 Hmm..i don't think that this will solve it since usually in MP the viewdistance is given by server/mission settings. Some things to try (although no guarantee for cure): - set Video Memory to "default" - set AA and AF to off or lowest possible - after that, raise the 3D resolution by one notch, maybe even 2. - set Objects detail to normal - disable postprocess effects - lower HDR quality to lowest once there, check your FPS. You may now raise some ov the previously reduced settings one by one, notch by notch and find the best balance between FPS and quality. Sorry, best advice i can give so far. stk2008 14 Posted April 9, 2012 TBH there is some thine else going on here. Every thing in your system is better than mine yet your getting poor FPS. It can only be a few things Defrag HD Failing component/s eg GPU,CPU,PSU? Buggered windows install or some other peice of software Over heating GPU or CPU whats the temps BTW of both under full load
vuckotadic 10 Posted April 9, 2012 what about it ? Phenom II is bottlenecking your GTX 570, thats why you have low fps. Download MSI Afterburner and check your GPU usage, if it's not 100% then you are CPU limitted.
stk2008 14 Posted April 9, 2012 easy test though not 100% accurate. Turn up every thing that reqiures just GPU eg AA Texture detail Res HDR Turn down Veiw distance as thats CPU if the FPS stays the same no matter how high you go or dont change by a lot then you know its your CPU for sure. Stop spreading BS. Even if the PhenomII does bottlenecking the GTX570, it shouldn't be as low as OP stated, at least double of the FPS he actually has. no use for a name 0 Posted April 11, 2012 (edited) Turn AtoC=7 to 0 (zero) in your Arma2oa.cfg It's usually one of the first solutions to bring up, but I guess everyone was busy having a pissing match over what hardware should do this and that lol edit: Also I just remembered you might change GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1000 to something lower like 1 just to see if it makes any difference http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/arma2.cfg Edited April 11, 2012 by No Use For A Name
