LBGS_Stewart 0 Posted June 9, 2002 i have a slight problem with the VON. ok at one time i was able to use it.  but now when i go to the voice setup in the presets it says that my sound card is not capable of capturing and playing sound simotaniosly.     but befor it could. it also said i could hear sounds being played but  while others could hear people talkin in the game i could not. i am running on  windows 2000 pro sound card  Soundblaster live 5.1 + MP3 procerssers  P3  1ghz by 2 any ideas or possible solushions would be nice I can now hear people talking on VON so i am alttle happier. ALDEGA 0 Posted June 10, 2002 To do the sound setup (which is actually part of DirectX), you need to lower the hardware acceleration a bit. Go to the sound control panel, search for something like "advanced", and then lower the acceleration level by one step. Then do the VON setup. LBGS_Stewart 0 Posted June 10, 2002 actuly what happen was i reparied my OS today and when you do that it over rites the Direct x to 7.0 and i then reinstalled 8.1 and it works like a charm but thanks for the apply i will try and reamber that next time if i have a problem Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
