Does anyone else have the problem where scripts load slow?

I use Cowarmod and ace 2, and i notice i have no lag during mission 30+ fps, but things involving scripts are always slow including missin scripts, has anyone else noticed / found a solution to this?

ACE is "scriptheavyer" than the vanilla game, though should not be too noticable, it all comes down to the scripts used, and we cant guess what you do with how many scripts, kindof what scripts....

Does it still do it when you just place a single unit in the editor? what FPS are you getting when it happens? I have the same problem, I had to turn off ACE scripted scopes, but I get pretty low FPS so that's only to be expected

There is at least one addon in COWarmod which causes this kind of problems. It eats up all the time the scripting engine has per frame (see also http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/ArmA:_Editing#Forward_Compatibility). The result is a massive delay of all other scheduled scripts, including mission scripts.

ACE itself does not use that many scheduled scripts but most of our scripts are event driven and do run in one frame and only if needed.

Please try with just ACE and tell me your results.

with just ace the scripts run fine, and fps is not a problem, just script loading time, do you know by chance what addon(s) in CowarMod affect timing of scripts, becuase ill be3 prompt to remove them
