rksl-rock 1301 Posted December 14, 2011 Gnat;2072058']....http://developer.vbs2.com/onlinehelp/Content/Adding_Models/How_to/AMHT_Thermal_Imaging_How.htm Thats not the right info for the ArmA2 system. It is a bit different. The method is correct just not which channel does what. Armoured Sheep posted a something a while back explaining the different channels etc. http://forums.bistudio.com/showpost.php?p=1822174&postcount=
max power 21 Posted December 15, 2011 I would like to expand on that by saying when Armoured Sheep says 'moving parts' in reference to the blue channel, he means tyres and stuff that would heat up from the vehicle literally moving. Moving parts that would heat up by just having the vehicle active, like, I don't know, exposed belts and other whirlygigs would be defined in the green channel. You might use the blue channel for some subtle touches on the leading edges of supersonic aircraft, but mostly you would be using it only for tyres and tank tracks.
