SuicideCommando 333 Posted January 29, 2012 Kis4M3 is right AK200 is now known as the the AK12 and this is it AK12 None the less. The Vilas modern AK74s do look ballin with these units. Shame there is no suppressed versions like you sometimes see on Karden blog. The "Vilas replacement" (it's rather an addition) equips all units (both camo versions) with Vilas weapons. Except Spotter and Sniper that wear different camo suits. The same happens with Sudden's weapons. I made no other changes with the units. It's just like in the original addon but the faction name. Of course the armament differs from Stagler's setup. I gave them what I liked and what's more or less realistic. You can also use both files if you have intalled both weapon packs and set up a mixed group. If I'll find a little bit of time I'm gonna write a replacement file for the BIS units. Maybe I use the woodland camo units for the army Spetsnaz and the plain Gorka-D for MVD/VV units. CameronMcDonald 146 Posted February 27, 2012 G'day Sir/Madam, I would like to point out a small improvement that could be made to these otherwise totally average units. But first, allow me to introduce me. I was the guy who took down Osama and then dolphindived out of a tenth story window onto a waiting ATV, here is a pic: I also took down Saddam in the first Golf [sic] War. So I know what I'm talking about, amirite? Anyway, I have circled this small improvement in the below "screenshot", as you whippersnappers call them these days. As you can see, this unfortunate gentleman has his radio mounted on his right shoulder. When he picks up a rifle, he will probably shoot all over the place because the buttstock has to balance/clip right through it. A close friend of mine (who assisted in the Osama takedown using a portable minigun and combat exoskeleton) commented on this the other day. I have inserted a stylised version of myself on the right side (directly under the sun, that classy SOB) toting my new USP .45 w taclazor. Now, this strapping young "laddie" has it right. His rifle will have a nice, firm platform without a radio causing trouble and squelching all over the shoppé. Might I request that all right-shoulder mounted radios get placed elsewhere?
