A few SR-3 Versions would be so cool! But what's really missing are Russian used sub machine guns like the frequently seen Kiparis, the Klin/Kedr and special forces' SR-2.

Just dreaming, guys. ;)

Btw I'm convinced that the AEK would be the best replacement for the AK atm.

SR-2 is merely Russian definition of PDF, rather than SMG in Western meaning, just like Austrian TMP and had partially similar ergonomic, thus.

while SR-3 is extremely handy both as PDW, small AR, SMG and EXCELLENT surprise weapon for concealed carry[mind SpetsNaz tactics against BLUFOR C3C assets during possible WWIII in past], especially with 10rd clip/mag.

Kiparis however kinda old design, remaining SMG formally, its heavily tuned for single-shot accuracy and thus was phased-out in service in favor of [more capable]AS/VSS complex, under-performing as SMG itself.

I was just trying out the AEK-971 with the 1P63 collimator sight and the reticle is grey. Is it suppose to be yellow? Can somebody else verify this either way?

Thanks for those links. It looks almost grey/green/yellow from those pics. The last pic was what I thought it should be like. I like the info about how it changes shape and intensity during different conditions (day, twilight, night). I still can't get used to it in game though (daytime). Haven't tried night time yet.

you can also create "replacement mod", just like how it made for AK pack and USMC & ACE mods, if you prefer play vanilla maps[or custom-made ones, which alteration you hadn't had permission/or time for].

Would be nice to finally see a quality version of Russian AN-94 with grenade launchers and optics. New Russian sniper rifles never get any attention from addon makers. Sniper version of Kord sure be a great addition as well.
