CIT report should include information if bug exists in SP or MP-cooperative or in both. How to report Campaign category bugs Issues titles should start with short version of campaign name: = Harvest Red [OA] = Operation Arrowhead [EW] = Eagle Wing [bAF] = British Armed Forces [PMC] = Private Military Company ...and be followed with mission name This is one of the hardest categories to reproduce because it usually requires a lot of playing and in cooperative-only issues it requires another human player and internet or LAN too. Also savegames are not so useful for repro since they soon become incompatible with next patch, but attach them if you have them. How to report World category bugs Issue titles should start with map name and GPS COORDS. This helps to keep issues sorted out in alphanumeric order and it also makes issues to be sorted in west-east order when looking at the map. Filling out Hardware and software specs are not important for World category since usually those issues has nothing to do with them. I have personally renamed all World category titles to include map name and GPS COORDS and provided screenshots for all that had none. Only future will tell if fixed versions of Chernarus, Zargabad or Takistan maps will ever be released. So do not expect too much when reporting issues of this category. When you play official missions remember World category bugs have also sightseeing value since they are supernatural or funny mostly. ;) Edited July 13, 2012 by Hanzu
OMAC 254 Posted September 23, 2011 (edited) Excellent post, Hanzu! BIS is getting close to releasing OA patch 1.60, so it would be a good idea to test the most recent beta to uncover new and unfixed bugs before it is released. Suma, Dwarden, and others are fixing bugs right and left now in prep for the release, concentrating of course on bugs introduced in the 1.60 beta patches. Thank you for the helpful post!!!!!! Hanzu 10 Posted September 26, 2011 (edited) Thank you OMAC. Looks like we are one of the few in community how care about this big time and I suppose BIS is mainly fixing bugs related to things (engine and AI fixes) they can use in ArmA 3. Anyway it still is nice to have as many bugs reported as possible to help players workaround them. All World category bugs are now tested by me with 1.60 BETA, but it a shame BIS is not AFAIK planning to release fixed version of Chernarus (which would eliminate tens of World bugs immediately). If nothing else maybe one day we can have fixed Arma2 maps as custom maps for Arma3. I wish I would have time and fellow player to test all bugs in Campaign and Mission categories with latest beta. Remember you can now also edit CIT report titles and descriptions of any issue. Suma once said he has hard time reading CIT reports including lots of chit chat and less facts. Basically good issue reproduction instuctions are the most important thing. So I need to clean up my own writings in CIT too. .kju 3244 Posted September 26, 2011 Maybe the community can release an improved Chernarus at some point. For such the reports would be very helpful too.
Hanzu 10 Posted September 26, 2011 (edited) Maybe the community can release an improved Chernarus at some point. For such the reports would be very helpful too. Yes good point PvPscene! I renamed all World category titles to include GPS COORDS and because of that issues will be sorted out by subject from west to east order. So it would require minimum mouse movement and map scrolling to who ever would do the fixing. I still have at least 3 new World category bugs I need to report. Not really new but never CIT reported ones anyway. Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Chernarus map used in Take On Helicopters too? Which IMO would have given more reasons to provide fixed Chernarus. Chernarus is a complex piece of art and that is why it has almost 30 issues alone, when Zargabad has 3, Takistan 2, Utes 1 and other maps 0 (reported ones). .kju 3244 Posted September 26, 2011 No idea about Take On Helicopters, but I doubt Chernarus is used for it. Too complex terrain.

Hanzu 10 Posted October 17, 2011 (edited) I'll be able to work on A2 for a couple of workdays now, so I'll do my best to solve as many issues as possible. That is very good news Jezuro! Thank you and thanks to whoever gave you that time!! I will try my best to improve reproduction instructions for issues. I also have these issues I'm planning to make CIT ticket for: Bitter Chill class 'binconfig.binCfgVehiclesMi24_DAnimationSourcesDoors' is not defined ('source' accessed) Badlands and Dogs Of War rearming or buying new weapon makes default weapon to disappear Dogs Of War The alliance between Guerrillas and BLUFOR has ended - false messages (they repeat throughout mission everytime save is loaded) Dogs Of War Ltn. Marny is not talking or providing information like R.A. Stavovich does. (Notes say they both should talk and provide information) Just post here or PM me, if you need details. I'm happy to help! Jezuro 452 Posted October 18, 2011 Just a quick update. Re: http://dev-heaven.net/issues/16362 Fixed. Re: http://dev-heaven.net/issues/15536 Attached savegames are unfortunately an older version (I tested with 1.59.85489). Playing the mission from start as 2 player coop, I've been able to finish it by reaching NAPA lines. Re: http://dev-heaven.net/issues/8843 Looks like deleteCollection is back in game (?) Re: http://dev-heaven.net/issues/18658 I locked the car, should solve the problem. Re: http://dev-heaven.net/issues/25560 Fixed now. The camo net still collapses sometimes, Shaftoe doesn't seem to mind though. Re: http://dev-heaven.net/issues/20154 Fixed. Re: http://dev-heaven.net/issues/12265 Fixed. sickboy 13 Posted October 18, 2011 (edited) Great, thanks Jezuro! I have updated the tickets with resolved status, feedback status where needed, and linked back to your post, and added quotes where useful. If you like, perhaps for the future you could update the tickets directly? Please let me know your account name in that case. I need to coop it with latest beta and if we can still repro it, I will attach newer savegame there. Re: http://dev-heaven.net/issues/8843 Looks like deleteCollection is back in game (?) I will try to get confirmation from someone who has played Eagle Wing. Re: http://dev-heaven.net/issues/18658 I locked the car, should solve the problem. Thank you! Re: http://dev-heaven.net/issues/25560 Fixed now. The camo net still collapses sometimes, Shaftoe doesn't seem to mind though. Thank you big time! It was one of the most annoying bugs still occurring with 1.60 beta. I also tested last week that falling campouflage net does not do damage anymore to anyone, but I'm pretty sure it was lethal with atleast 1.54-1.58. Anyway very intresting to see how you solved it. Making him sit or just locking his movement. We will see. :) Re: http://dev-heaven.net/issues/20154 Fixed. Thank you! Failed to do own ticket for similar problem but Manhattan GPS COORDS 999153 there is a platoon misplaced at bottom left corner of map - in the middle of the sea. I will do CIT ticket for it too. Re: http://dev-heaven.net/issues/12265 Fixed. Thank you! I'm intrested to see how this one could be fixed. :) All in all awesome work Jezuro! I will try to make a list tonight of the most fastest bugs to fix, so that possibke second fix day is not consumed by hard or unreproable issues. I assume fixes will come to 1.60 final and not to next beta (which usually does not contain data changes). As I write this I see emails about Sickboy changing issue statuses to Upcoming Version. SB you were faster than me. ;) Edited December 28, 2011 by Hanzu

Hanzu 10 Posted October 18, 2011 Perhaps for the future you could update the tickets directly? I'm afraid we don't see so many fixes from Arma3-busy Yezuro, so I guess we could do that for him in hope of giving him some minutes more for an another fix. :) It would be useful to know if detailed repro steps, GPS COORDS, long detailed title and screenshots are speeding up the bughunting and reproducing process or should I instead just report more than trying to improve old tickets? ---------- Post added at 03:03 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:02 PM ---------- TeamWork, baby! That was exactly what I was about to say. :bounce3:

Hanzu 10 Posted October 18, 2011 Much welcome all.I'll ask around to see if we can smuggle missions.pbo into the beta procedure as thorough testing is always needed with gameplay fixes. I promise to handle all testing (CIT workflow Resolved->Closed) for these fixes in possible beta and in 1.60 final. If they would be will be included in beta, archive size would increase considerably maybe but it would give better quality assurance for final and it would be a cheer up for all content fix lovers after looking all those AI and engine fixes (which are important too ofcourse). :)
Jezuro 452 Posted October 18, 2011 (edited) Another let-you-know, I've finally identified and isolated those skipped debriefing screens and decisions forgotten between campaign missions. Both are MP-only and programmers have been informed. *edit: It would be useful to know if detailed repro steps, GPS COORDS, long detailed title and screenshots are speeding up the bughunting and reproducing process or should I instead just report more than trying to improve old tickets? Problem descriptions are quite sufficient now, so far I've been able to remember what and where it could be wrong in the code. sickboy 13 Posted October 18, 2011 Re deleteCollection, it indeed seems to be back, at least, it pops up on auto completion in editor fields, and pressing F1. Description says: same as hideObject. I guess it was reintroduced for backwards compatibility, instead of the full functionality as it was before it was removed. Which is probably sufficient for the usages in the missions. Yea saw those changed to Upcoming version by Dwarden already a while ago, but didn't realize it was you! Big thank you! That really bothered me and my fellow gamers who wanted to complete all those COOP missions properly and because of those bugs we could not. It is a relief I can finally take those links out of my signature when 1.60 final comes out. I would like to know if you had to correct it for every mission separately or was there something in main code that affected those missions. I think there was some missions like COOP 06 Tank Busters where it occurred occasionally but those which I reported it happened always. Re deleteCollection, it indeed seems to be back, at least, it pops up on auto completion in editor fields, and pressing F1.Description says: same as hideObject. This page was last modified on 19 July 2011, at 04:11.: http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/deleteCollection So my guess is that "mysterious coder" brought it back by that date. I suggest Lets just Exipire or Close that [EW] ticket. If I ever have time to play Eagle Wing, I will run into it if it is still reproable and I can re-assign it myself.
