4th mission

The mission that has you searching for Lopotev and you have the support option of help extraction from Starforce 21:

Calling for extraction works, the chopper flies to your location and lowers to the ground, hovering until your squad is all in. Then nothing happens. There is no prompt to do anything, and the help just sits there hovering. I only have played in single player, and I hadn't played ARMA for quite a while, until 1.60 and it's mp fixes was released. I do not know if the problem was a result of v1.60 or a previous patch.

I am sure you have figured it out by now, but since no one helped you I thought I should try.

When you have confirmed visually that all of your team are aboard the huey, then click on M for the map. Then find the spot where you want to go, and then call for support/transport and click on the spot you want to be dropped off at.

I got stuck on a rock while playing Dayz on Chernarus. The rock is by a lake at some compound north of Dolina. A shame to loose a character with good gear by not being able to move.

Place what you mean is probably at GPS COORDS 114079. It is not a lake since lakes have blue names in Chernarus map and this one has no name since it is a small pond south of a factory located in the halfway of Polina-Orlovets road in North-South route closest village is indeed Dolina, but if someone tests this do not start at Dolina it is a long way from there to walk. Tested all rocks and rockfences in that area and did not manage to get stuck. Probably you mean rocks east side of the bond that are black on main map and green in GPS. Also it would be improtant to know from what direction did you approach, did you stand, crouch or crawl, did you reverse and so on. I can investigate, but only with more information.

There has been several reports of DayZ characters beeing stuck in some places, maybe it is because of a character and not because of the world. If this turns out not to be world issue and instead a mod issue then it there is no support for it here and instead

A couple more bugs that I encountered:

Freedom Fighters, Singleplayer (possibly affects other warfare modes?) - the Elektrozavodsk Russian barracks spawned inside the Elektrozavodsk stronghold/bunker, making both impossible to enter and the barracks impossible to destroy (as of 12 satchel charges). I don't know if this happens every time, but it has a couple at least.

Freedom Fighters, Singleplayer - Razor Team don't help in any way. The only interaction with them are a few useless chat options.

Freedom Fighters, Singleplayer - there is no mark on the map for meeting the weapons smugglers. Not necessarily a bug, but it strikes me as odd, when most things have associated 'tasks'. I avoided the smugglers, because I didn't want to waste time on a possibly bugged meeting (after I couldn't interact with Razor Team)

Freedom Fighters, Singleplayer - The villages you liberate are supposed to help with your uprising (I believe there are even scripts buried away somewhere that were never used - things like "That's one village liberated! Now for the next". They don't help, you are on your own on this mission

(Freedom Fighters I found to be unplayably buggy and very unbalanced in a way that seemed more than just 'difficult')


- Bitter Chill - If you refuse the helicopter ride and head straight to the NAPA contact (before the 5pm attempt to contact base) you still get the dialogue with them, but the location of your next destination (the NAPA camp) isn't marked on the map. At 5pm you then contact base (scripted event) and have to choose to side with NAPA or the CDF. If you choose NAPA, the waypoint marker is set to the orginal NAPA contacts, but this time you can't have the conversation and the waypoint never gets set to their camp, forcing you to restart the mission.

Two general bugs from warfare modes:

I'm not sure what triggers this, but I think it may be loading a save - often, the high command town 'interaction' menus (containing things like 'city menu' and 'construction') become inaccessible - nothing happens when you right-click on a city - unless you vote for the AI commander, then vote yourself in charge again.

Sometimes high command units just stop obeying orders. They stay dead in their tracks and don't move. I had to restart the mission from scratch. I don't have much more info on this, sorry.

Finally, I suppose these aren't bugs so much as frustrating game behaviour:

The way people in enemy warfare bases spawn out of thin air very frustrating (they often spawn immediately in front, or behind you). Having them spawn inside a building would be a little nicer.

In warfare, if you, as commander, move your HQ then elect AI commander again, the AI will move your HQ back, regardless of the situation it is in. Particularly frustrating in light of the bug I mentioned which needs you to elect the AI and then yourself again to fix (in the ten seconds the AI has command, they will mobilise HQ). A far preferable behaviour would be for the AI to simply never move HQ.

Sorry for this huge list. I hope I've explained them well enough. I LOVED the single-player campaign/scenarios in Arma, but found too many frustrating bugs. Thanks for the devs for working on updates, Arma has very quickly become one of my favourite games, I can't make that clear enough.

Hello. I've been having some problems with these missions which seem to be a little unusual. = Mission One Week Later- Osprey crashes

 

[OA] = First mission (actual combat, invasion of airfield)

Only managed to finish the second time I played it, the first time the AI would just stick to cover, prone and not do anything.

 

 

EDIT: Mods and version:

Latest beta patch with TPW AI LOS, CBA, Copy Stance and Zeus

 

EDIT 2: I made a bad mistake, the game was at 1.60 version with the latest beta patch (for 1.63), my bad.

Hello, I'd like to report a few bugs.

= Mission Razor Two: Unable to operate UAV

 

The UAV system at the Elektrozavodsk base is unusable.

 

= Mission Razor Two: Unable to catch Bardak

 

After encountering Bardak the capture animation does not happen; not even after prolongued chase.

 

= Mission Razor Two: Evidence in Chedaki camp not present 

 

This happened after inspecting the previous two red marks and the fight with Olegich.

 

I am playing the Harvest Red campaing from the ArmA 2: OA Steam version, patch 1.64.144629.

@ad8am70 go to game properties, beta tab and select backup_163

 

with that you will see that you solve all the problems with the campaigns, saved games, etc.
