Laike 10 Posted August 31, 2011 I'm having severe sound distortion with my system. It sounds exactly like this video I'm using an old X-fi ExtremeMusic card right now. I've turned off all the EAX settings and tried setting it to 2.1 with no avail. I'm currently using the only drivers that work for a 4+ gig system with the old series xfi cards, a hacked driver set made by daniel_K. I'm playing ARMA2 on steam so I'm pretty sure it's patched up to the most recent version. The only thing I've found that works is I disable or physically unplug my USB headset that's also plugged in to play. Unfortunately due to the nature of my PX21 headset it means I lose the ability communicate over ventrilo or use headphones while playing ARMA2. Has anyone found a permanent fix to this issue?
