What is the 173rd Airborne Brigade?:

The 173rd Airborne Brigade is a Realism unit that strives to uphold the core values of the United States Army. Here, we run the unit just as the United States Army would with dedication and perseverance. We can provide everything you are looking for in a realism unit. We have active members and a committed command staff. With a large family of brothers. We are a new tactical realism unit. We are looking for active and dedicated Soldiers. If you are interested in a unit with a chain of command, promotions, realism, then the 173rd Airborne Brigade is where you belong.

What you should expect as a 173rd Airborne Brigade Soldier:

In the 173rd Airborne Brigade we believe that developing a strong sense of community and brotherhood goes a long way in maintaining the longevity and success of a unit. For this reason, we focus a lot of attention of developing these connections between our soldiers. Mutual respect and the ability to work well and productively with others is a requirement of the 173rd Airborne Brigade. On the battlefield, we are a fighting machine. Every man knows his place and his position, as well as the importance of his vigilance to the squad. We expect a high degree of discipline from our soldiers on the battle field as we go out there with the intent to get a job done and have fun. We expect all members of the squad to play tactically with the success of the mission and the survival of the team at the front of their minds.

First Step Into Becoming A Soldier In the 173rd:

Enlistment is your first step toward becoming a soldier in the 173rd Airborne Brigade. One of the best parts about this unit is that we know real life comes first while still showing a commitment to the Unit. We require activity yes, but that activity can be shown in many ways, such as being active on our forums and training twice a week.

Once you are a member in the 173rd, you'll be put though our Basic Training Course (BCT) which includes; Fire Team formations, range safety and weapons training, vehicle convoy, vehicle identification, dry runs and live fire exercises are just a part of BCT in the 173rd. These will be the building blocks of your skills as a soldier in our unit. There are four classes in the BCT and followed by Airborne School.

Update-

The 173rd Airborne Brigade has started up its first training platoon. Training platoon 001 will start on the 27th of this month, we currently have six recruits and are accepting recruits for this training platoon. We do have a server box and a TS3 up and are currently running two trainings and one operation per week.
