NoRailgunner 0 Posted July 10, 2012 Think the unobstrusive and optional hints for quick reference is a good way to get most new/veteran players happy. Please BIS show us more how the AI will adapt/survive/win in land-air-sea combat of A3! :)
Tonci87 163 Posted July 10, 2012 Nice presentation, but where are the promised cluster bombs?

Timnos 1 Posted July 11, 2012 Think the unobstrusive and optional hints for quick reference is a good way to get most new/veteran players happy. When I first heard Jay say 'hint system' my eyelid started twitching and red hot-anger built up to a dangerous level!!! thank God he reassured us that it can be quickly disabled. Phew
zukov 488 Posted July 11, 2012 (edited) to be honest i think the support UI is a bit confused starts to right and the options appear on left Edited July 11, 2012 by Zukov
Jezuro 452 Posted July 11, 2012 It's not the options, just a hint on how to control the UI.
zukov 488 Posted July 11, 2012 and why not directly in the same hint window?
pettka 694 Posted July 11, 2012 and why not directly in the same hint window? Generic hints are going to be shown on the right, this is just one of them. And Arma users are mostly used to have command menu on the left, why would we make them cry :icon_twisted:
metalcraze 290 Posted July 11, 2012 It will be great if the command menu appeared to the left near the crosshair (since that's where I'm looking and looking to the left of the screen while moving for example is not too comfortable). Your ArmA user.
dm 9 Posted July 11, 2012 And Arma users are mostly used to have command menu on the left, why would we make them cry :icon_twisted: The command menu always used to be top-right, you made a lot of OFP vets cry when you moved it middle left. :P
liquidpinky 11 Posted July 11, 2012 The command menu always used to be top-right, you made a lot of OFP vets cry when you moved it middle left. :P BIS are probably crying with laughter right now anyway. If A3 is anything like ToH, you can put the UI elements wherever you want them and then in whatever colour takes your fancy as well.
EricM 0 Posted July 11, 2012 Yes, Take on having custom UI placement, I don't see why A3 wouldn't support it. It's more of a case of preferences for the Default setting, which can be argued during the alpha/beta phase.
CriminalMinds 10 Posted July 11, 2012 (edited) New walkthrough interview with Jay Crowe on gamestar.de: http://www.gamestar.de/index.cfm?pid=1589&pk=66727 Very detailed one! Love them! :D Edited July 11, 2012 by CriminalMinds
Maio 293 Posted July 11, 2012 Nothing really new in that video, but now we know that the Strider has more then 3 seats so it might very well be NATO's new LTV, replacing the HMWVV.
