I want to see them both! so we can really get a size comparison

Why don't you just get yourself a 19km^2 grid and position it over a 270km^2 grid...

Good things come to those who wait.

As it has been explained, 270km² is the pure landmass. The actually map is 30km * 30km / 900km²

Twice the size of Chernarus , amazing :)

Not quite buddy, Chernarus is 225km2, Altis is 270km2. But that is landmass alone as had been said previously.

Your point is?

That by the looks of it, there is nothing special in todays update, content wise. Might be some nice fixes, we'll see when the changelog comes up.

The point is there is a Rocket for the Alamut that is called "Alamut AA Rocket", which is clearly isn't. It probably is a left-over from the guided days of the launcher.

Nope the rocket is still in the ammo launcher...

And I haven't stated that there was going to be.

About the rocket: iirc it still does exist but will probably be phased out.

I think it's a HE... if you shoot the normal one, you get some explosion effect, but with the AA labeled one (which is also shorter) there is a bigger explosion and dust is thrown up...

Regular branch is not receiving UAVs until launch, Dev build is sometime this weekish, and then Dev build is also receiving Altis around gamescom.

Well it'd be a bit of a sh!tty commentary on dev updates if we weren't :P

Hah, well I was wondering if the optimisations are noticeable so far. Particles, things like that.

The new SABOT rounds look pretty cool. More authentic vs an invisible impact :')
