New REPORT IN, featuring international configuring superstar , Mr. :icon_twisted: himself, pettka:

http://www.arma3.com/news/report-in-petr-kolar-encoding#.UadiHpxglso

Nice screenshots and article :D

But it's not added to bistudio.com's devblog yet.

Even if the sides aren't so technically different, balancing in MP proves to be a challenge. Each army should have weak points and strengths. Even more so for the ‘Green’ army (Beta leak)

I guess there is a 'green' invasion happening soon. :)

The actual plan for Alpha is to release the final Alpha patch (0.60) tomorrow.

Will there be dev branch updates after this and before the beta?

If yes will they feature beta content per chance?

Yeah, it was said on the live stream that there will be beta content in the Alpha dev build around a week prior to beta release, IIRC.

I believe they've stated that the dev branch will feature the beta content the day after E3.

From Thursday until E3: normal Alpha dev branch updates - not much Beta content yet

From E3 until about a week afterwards: normal Alpha dev branch updates - with little chance of some Beta prep content

From about a week after E3 until Beta release: staging - big chance of Beta content showers

From Beta release: normal Beta dev branch updates

looks nice.... once we get to use it we can give some constructive feedback... For me they need to set the scope to the master eye side and give a little more field of view. Thanks.

Wait, so 3D magnified scopes are officially confirmed? In the sense that the magnified area is actually only what is visible through the scope? How the hell will they pull that off without a massive performance drop?

Yay!

Simple: they didn't.
