PTV-Jobo 820 Posted August 23, 2011 Has anyone noticed weapon resting only works on machine guns while laying prone? I was playing some coop like a day ago and tried to rest my weapon and couldn't. I tried on everything--walls, sandbags, humvee hoods, etc. It didn't work with anything other than the mg's and even then only when I went prone. I tried the repair function on SU because I also had the bug with player names not showing, but really disappointed seeing my favorite function not working like it use to. But right now I'm not sure if I'm the only one or not having this issue. So that's why I figured ask here first before just making a ticket too soon. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

It basically just show a diagram with arrows pointing every direction and each having a certain action, but couldn't get the animation working. Am I missing something here? Spawned objects collide only with the ground and not with other objects like walls for example (weapon resting is using spawned collider objects to check for other objects near the player). See: http://dev-heaven.net/issues/23626 Couldn't figure it out myself, been trying to find out how does the "tab" mouse gesture function works. Rather simple. Hold the TAB key (it's the default key, can be changed in ACE options). For example, move the mouse to the middle of the screen, hold left mouse button, move for example to the left upper corner of the screen, release mouse button, release TAB. The check is done as soon as you release the TAB key. I have changed the interaction button and self interaction button and tested that both of these buttons bring up menu's when standing next to other objects or when its just me itself. The problem is that I will pack a tripod from a csw transport crate and then hit the self interaction button and the other button and no menu for csw deploy appears. It was working about a week or so ago and now its stopped working. Ive used six updater to make sure everything is running up to date and I think the latest update might have broken it. Help please! In some guns, in particular machineguns and some vehicle mounted weapons, I am noticing excessive dispersion, rendering some guns but worthless. Added is a pict showing the M134 on the PMC truck, showing the dispersion. The target was only about 150 meters away, and he was shooting at it, expending his entire ammo supply without destroying the UAZ, only killing its driver after a couple of minutes. HMGs and coaxial MGs on tanks also show pretty bad dispersion levels. Is this intentional, or a bug on my end? I have inquired this before and I was told that the version I have now fixed this: are some of my other settings incorrect? Both AI skills and dispersion values in the config are set to 1.
