Weird Stutter and textures

Recommended Posts

I need help. I've got wierd stutter and LOD Issues that I can't fix. I looked all over the fourms, and I don't think the problems other people are having are related to mine because nothing is working. and lowering the graphics to very low also does'nt help.

Here are my specs:

Intel Core i5 CPU 650 @ 3.20GHz

8GB of DDR3 RAM

ATI XFX Radeon HD 5770 1GB GPU

1TB HDD

ArmA2 Specs:

Texture Quality: High

Video Memory: Default

AA and AF : normal

Terrain Quality: normal

Object Quality: normal

Shadow Quality: High

Post Process: Low

Screen resolution: 100% @ 1336 x 768

Cataylst driver is 10.12

Arma 2 CO is 1.50

Thanks in advance, and let me know if I forgot something:)

Edit: Nevermind I fixed it, I feel like moron because I overlooked something here in the forums.

@Admiral Sombrero I've been having an issue with stuttering and textures. While moving, I would get a series of stutters and some serious texture loading issues, blurring etc.

How did you fix it?

Whoops my bad.

I read the ArmA 2 OA Optimizition thread, not sure what worked but here's the link

http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=101124

Also I noticed the problem is still there just not as bad (maybe 80% better)

and I still have the texture thing but also not as bad (maybe 50% better).

The texture thing is not as bothersome than the stutter.

All in all It runs well enough for me.

I think the the real problem has to do with the HDD files not loading fast enough.

you should also look at this link.

I think thats the real problem.

Hope you fix you problem. :)
