What 2 add?

i made a YAK in gmax yet my poly count is very low. I was wondering what i was missing? Heres some pics please reply if u have any ideas

I know I have said time and time again to make it low poly, but that's a bit extreme =)

I suggest you find good reference pics and re-work your model completely. From the looks of it, it's gonna be a bitch to add detail on that one.

try http://www.suurlands.com/ for good blueprints. To map out the basic structure.

Then you can search http://images.google.com for texture reference pics.

I think the nose cone can be a little shorter. You should research some pics and make it look as good as possible

The wigs don't appear to have a foil section, which should up it a bit. Also you could bung in control surfaces; Rudder, Flaps, Ailerons, Elevators and Speedbrakes. though you won't be able to animate it yet, bung in the undercarriage in the down position.

All in all, that's a hell of a lot better than my first effort!

thx, i've already got pretty good plans and pics but the plane is really plain (hehe) . How do u go about making flaps and rudders etc. Also, should gears b out or in since i can't animate it yet?

edit:another question, does anyone out there no how to change models from gmax form into milkshape form?
