1.99 is a stand alone game free to owners of 1.96

1.99 is not compatible with 1.96 servers, you need 1.96 which doesnt get changed if you install 1.99

I tried to install patches, but I get an error before they finish and it askes me to reinstall the game. I have already tried this and it doesn't work. Is there an alternative way to upgrade? I still have the old CD keys and the disc.

You only need to install CWA with the CD-Key from OFP.

I've released document about CWA. It's like changelog but without misleading information.

I wish there is a mutli-core support

Maybe someone could write an external program utilizing Fwatch to multi-thread the game's AI?

Cold War Enhanced mod uses an external program for it's sound engine which uses all CPU cores utilizing Fwatch, but data packets for AI are much larger than for sound.

Another option would be to use a network to try and accelerate the game's processes.

I tried using ArmA 3's memory allocator but it doesn't really do anything for CWA (still have to change code to utilize more memory).
