CWR² Demo

Played through the demo campaign... It was great! Seemed like the original to me. All the enemies were in the same place. After Montignac was as exciting as ever... running away to a hopeless evac zone, then having your hopes built up about another evac zone. Only to find out all the people have been killed. Then the epic song Organ Works plays. :D

All the other missions were great also, especially loved the credits at the end... the stupid ruskie had to kill the tank guy with his hands up!

One bug I noticed was at the end of "Rescue" all the debriefing elements were shown, success, failure, and another version of failure.

I had my fingers in that one, at least before zipper5 took over. That could explain it. :D

This is very nice, but you guys need to take a look at some of your configs. I've been seeing a lot of bugs/errors. :)

Very cool! Liking it so far, I loved OFP. For some reason it took like 15 call outs that I was injured for the medic to finally agree to heal me! :p

Rescue debriefing fixed, was exactly what I expected. :D

Haha -having great fun this!

Oh and did I say ....BOMBERMAN!!!

For some reason that mission really hooked me way back then - I always strived to get perfect satchel placement, then after the armor go support my guys as sniper. Wasn't happy with even 1 casualty in that one. :)

Edit: Wonder what ever happened to good old Kozlowski - "I spy with my little eye...."

Classic.

I installed this like a normal mod, and there isn't any new campaign or scenarios. I read the readme, it told me extract files that don't exist in the download.

Also I got a CTD when I tried to place a BLUFOR infantry group in the editor.

What files are listed which are not in the download?

Bug reports, suggestions etc in the Community bugtracker, please!

If posted here they are either not seen, or we forget about them.

The readme tells us to extract about a dozen .7z files with very general names. But the zipped files only contains a hundred specific .pbos in the addons folder. It looks like the readme to another mod.

It's the readme to a different package.

All of those files should go is @CWR\AddOns\

The missions should go in your missions folder.

I get a CTD with an out of memory error when I try to launch the campaign or any of the maps in the editor. Anyone else got this?

This is the only mod I get that message, everything else I use works just fine.

EDIT: Tested with beta/no beta, same result.

In one of my missions, not using any CWR2 stuff, HQ is named Papa Bear, even though I've named it something different with the stringtable.csv.

Editor groups fixed, I upload another hotfix later today. Then also you are able to lock on the Hellfires again.

Please download the Mod again from another source, armedassault.info or armedzone.com are good choices because they have the Mod in one big download.

It could be that either the download is corrupted or you are missing an addon which makes your game crash when loading one of the terrains. I had that situation too in the past when trying to run a map for which I had not all required addons.

Hello, i'm really liked this demo, but i'm find some errors ;)

  1. Thermal imager in M1A1 Abrams
  2. In AKS-74 not shadow of butt
  3. Bad reloading animation in 6G-30
  4. Not reloading animation in MM1
  5. Don't work Mortar Shell on M16A2
