DarkAgeKhan 10 Posted June 14, 2011 Five Combat Reconnaissance | www.fivecombatrecon.comHave been active since early 2011 but unit origins commenced much before this time. Focus is on co-operative game play with a 'strict unit environment' - our ethos is 'play when you want to play' and we enforce a 'no minimum attendance policy' - we're all busy with real lives and respect this. The unit supports a 'virtual career' system whereby rank and awards are earnt on accordance with proven and documented unit experience and merit and aren't awarded in accordance with 'organisational requirements'. We 'portray' a Special Forces outfit and enjoy the flexibility that it provides. We are UK based but are recruiting all across Europe. We welcome guests to our game nights on Monday's + Wednesday's + Saturday's - please join our forum (firstly) and teamspeak 3 server: 87.117.193.5:10094 Madness O/C, Five Combat Reconnaissance
policemania05 10 Posted May 29, 2014 We are back. We were a Arma 2 unit, and now we are back as a Arma 3 unit, better than before. Five combat recon is a small, tight knit arma 3 group. We speak english and are active in the evenings (GMT) in weekends and increasingly on weekdays. We play COOP missions with Zeus or custom missions made by our members. Currently we have no modset and a single server which switches between private and public based upon the operation. We value that people have lives. As such, we do not demand that you play with us every single operation. We do not also have a strict yes sir no sir policy. Yes we have a command structure and yes we are professional over coms during operations. However your squads teamspeak channel is where you can share banter in a operation. In and out of operations we hope you will find us a friendly happy bunch of people. All of us play arma because we enjoy it and that is reflected in our conduct. Our forums have a general section, where you can talk to us and ask questions before applying. When you apply we will accept your forum application before we start training you. Recruit status normally lasts around two weeks, but it depends on how managment feel you are getting on. If you require more information then please post on our forums, the email is not your best bet for gaining information as the forums are checked more often by more people. o7 Vamps
