In fact, we are estimating over $800 million of PC builds influenced primarily by this title. A major component of this situation is that many games are placing increasing demands on the CPU. The result is that swapping out the graphics add-in board is not enough this time around and gamers are building (and ordering) overclocked PC's from the ground up. Arma 3 beta update adds gigantic island of Altis Incgamers.com Get ready for even more ridiculous amounts of Arma 3 space to run around in, because Bohemia Interactive has added the game’s main island of Altis to the beta build today. To give you a numerical idea of how large it is, the previous island (Stratis) is 20 square kilometers in size. Altis is 270 square kilometers in size. The first stage of the full release is the delivery the huge landmass into the development branch of the game (Steam > Arma 3 Beta > Properties > Betas), prepping it for a load of content to follow. Unless you’re handy with the editor, or download one of the early missions on the game’s Steam Workshop, there’s not much to do yet, but that shouldn’t stop you from loading it up.
