Zmol 0 Posted May 13, 2011 Hi I made my friends buy ARMA 2 at a cheap steam offer, and we have had a fun playing through the campaign, but not as much fun as we could have had. The bugs we experience are listed in order of frequency: - Loading a game after a player death results in everyone but the host losing their objectives. In other words, their objective(s) are reverted to they had at mission startup. (frequency: always) - unable to pick up dogtags and complete various other objectives including the entire mission in mission Razor Two. Used the campaign cheat to get past this mission after 6 attempts stopped by various bugs. (frequency: always) - In mission manhatten, the objective to meet "Shafttoe" is canceled 7 out of 9 times upon touch down with the Osprey plane. (frequency 80% of the time) - THE MOST SEVERE BUG for us right now is that my game freezes with me being the host. This freeze can last 10-20 seconds, ½-2 minutes or be permanent. The permanent freeze happened 4 times yesterday forcing us to end our 1 hour save. We hypothesize that bug occurs more frequently when we a) are more players and b) when we are split up i.e. me driving 1½ km away from the rest of the group. Loading the game the perma freeze happened 3 times: once after 1 minute. once after 20 seconds and once after 3 seconds. Extra info: This save took significant longer to load too and it was about 40 minutes into the session. (frequency: most games but of varrying severity. Occurs late in the session) - Resuming the game from one day to the next, the save function broke. We could load all and overwrite all seven save slots, but only the original yesterday-save would load. (frequency: once) There are numerous other minor bugs, but these are the major ones. If you could perhaps give your experience on some of them or give advice on how to resolve them it would be a great help, because we really enjoy playing the game, but it's a real endurance test right now :s Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
