Offline play and recommended mods

Hello,

When I bought Arma, my system couldn't handle it so I stopped playing it. When I upgraded my PC, I bought Arma 2 and have been playing it off and on since. I'm thinking about trying Arma again.

I mainly play offline in Arma 2 cause I'm still pretty bad with it. I will try online when I think I'm ready. Do you all think it's worth it playing Arma offline?

Also, what are some of the recommended/required mods for Arma?

Are you talking about ArmA1 or ArmA2 ? Your post is a bit unclear.

Generally no one needs to be 'ready' in order to have fun online mate, just make sure you dont shoot friendlies. Apart from that just ask whenever you dunno something, most ppl are very helpful if asked correctly. :)
