Look at the picture to the right of the scuba (scuba!?!) and you can see a soldier down in definitely a new death animation.

Physical simulation & improved animations - take advantage of PhysXâ„¢ supporting the vehicle simulation, in-game interactions and the revamped animation system.

That killed me a bit inside, as well as my 6970 :( fucking proprietary API

No!

These profiles are in the actual NVIDIA GeForce WHQL driver (version 270.61):

Armed Assault (arma.exe)

Armed Assault (armademo.exe)

Armed Assault II (arma2.exe)

Armed Assault II (arma2demo.exe)

Armed Assault II (arma2free.exe)

Armed Assault II: Operation Arrowhead

Armed Assault III (arma3.exe)

Armed Assault III (arma3demo.exe)

In my opinion it's all about "ARMA III" and an "ARMA III Demo" (PhysX will be supported).

There is no other reason for NVIDIA to include these profiles.

Have I won something? ;) :p

Those specs given probably are the least to see it properly operate on.. I think I'll await the reviews on BI-forum before I decide to buy this game, and along with it, a new fresh rig (if I can)..

What I am hoping for, is that they've tackled the insane need for a most powerfull rig to play the game, as that is the biggest obstacle for many would-be gameplayers, and along with it a cashflow-stopper for BIS' income-rates.

Edit: And by the way, we'll see if BIS have learned from the initial release of Arma-2, campaign wise and have it run smooth and clear, without so many bugs around this time..

Me too, I still haven't bought any game that uses any kind of proprietary middleware, as I'm extremely opposed to that kind of selling techniques.

I don't like the idea. Most of us play the game because it's accurate and realistic, now it's just an extended game with futuristic stuff. Is there a classic version of it?

Dudes this is too thrilling for words but FU********Ck Yeah!!!

I've been waiting for this type of revamp engine announcement since I was a wee lad.

I'm a little worried for ATI users tho...

Looks very promising already, since they still have half a year to work on it, it should be an amazing game :)

That's nice... bit off my timeline but i wonder what futuristic gimmicks and vehicles they put into it :)))

But it looks i'll need a new rig too...

Gotta love the realism factor. No more of this "but my 386 can't run it good!!1!"

If you don't at least have a Core i5, then you ain't going to play. Looks like I'll need to upgrade soon.

Damn PhysX. I wanted physics but what about AMD GPU's? I think even a discrete NVidia card won't do physx for you if you have AMD GPU's.

This has "The Way its Meant to be Played" all over it.
