da12thMonkey 1943 Posted April 28, 2011 Not sick of the wedding; sick of all the media buildup for it. I don't even watch much TV but I can't help but feel like it's saturating everything. Honestly, if they hadn't bored me to tears with all this stuff leading up to the day; I might have still considered watching the wedding. As much as I like all the pomp and pageantry that comes with us having a Royal family, I'm just not interested in their personal lives; only the traditions, and institution that they represent. I'm sure it'd be a great event to watch if it didn't come with all the 'fluff' that TV execs add. Thing is, there's going to be more shite on TV about it for weeks and weeks afterwards as well, where they show all the footage from the day again with twats commenting on every little detail. It's only going to get more tedious. Might still tune in for the precession for all the military escort and stuff, and RAF flypast, but the ceremony's out.
