Is this normal:

AI basically ignores you. You have to empty half a clip from Sten to kill anything. What are the bullets made out of when AI doesnt even seem to flinch when you hit them? Nade's killing radius might be too small too. Btw AI warped, even though I was alone in that server with a ping of 30ms.

This video is a perfect example of the AI stupidity that i was talking about!

Hrm, the Sten isn't exactly strong up front, using a 9x19 round (Same as M9) plus at the range you were firing. It seemed most rounds may have missed and you got a lucky head shot on one? From personal use of the Sten I've had the AI react quite uhhh... harshly (Turning their MP40s on me and spraying me).

Also the Sten used is a suppressed version so it isn't that effective on ranged targets like that. I've tested it in sneaking missions and noticed it isn't truly effective unless you can get in close to put rounds into the enemy.

But this info I gave is all personal use in mission making and googling the Sten specs :P

In WW2 Germans were used to speak Russian, because it would be helpfull for them after been taking captive and the occupation of Eastern Germany...

There aren't any speechfiles available at the moment, at least not for 2.5

I'm late to try this outstanding mod. Didn't know it was already released I guess my info site is to slow. :p Yesterday it took me 2:15 time to download (2 are hours 15 are min.)

to download mod. No problems so my line is crap...

Then I finaly got the mod to desktop and tried to start icon,instaling then

F**** Norton IS 2011 recognized your addon as malware and f*** deleted it permanently. You can't believe how fast I unistaled Symantec crapware from my PC and laptop.

So despite 1st shitty experience im downloading again,... same time... but this time without paranoid security.

Cant wait to try out this remarkable MOD.

Im following you I44 team since OFP days. F***** pioners I44 team, hats down! Woohoooo

Yeah, the Sten does seem pretty weak all round. If you got hit by a 9mm without any modern body armour, I'm sure it would leave a nasty mess.

The Sten was a turd of a weapon, if the UK hadn't lost so much equipment in the campaign in France in 1940, I doubt they would have ever produced it for anything but the resistance movements. The 9X19mm is underpowered (ok for police use, although even today you hear complaints about the inability of the round to bring down aggitated/drugged suspects without body armor, but on the battlefield, you need more power to reliably take down a soldier wearing equipment and multiple layers of clothing) for it's main intended purpose, unreliable (prone to jamming because of poor manufacturing standards, design compromises to keep the cost down etc). A design dictated by necessity, not by army requirements or even logical thinking.

The maximum effective range of all the Stens is 100m. The Sten MkII in the game is a suppressed version, the Sten MkIIS, in WW2 suppressors were quite in their infancy, and the maximum effective range is IIRC 35m or less. A true assassins weapon meant for the SOE, SAS and other specialist units, and not regular units on the battlefield.

finally Downloaded... Simply Wow, unbelievable amount of work here, warfare chernarus pls!? Or even celle! The scope and detail of some these mods coming out are really amazing, thanks :)

That was just general handling of Stug in that video. Although it does spin around quite fast and it seems that mg bullets make Stuarts and Shermans blow up...

The tank gameplay mechanics and its flaws are vanilla A2's fault afaik. No decent hit-modelling afaik. When you hit someone, you don't really hear or feel if you hit the target or not. Same goes when you are hit, you just find out that the tank crew left the tank and then you check the upper left corner and see that your tank is almost blown up and then you wonder when and how did this happen :-/ I could imagine that a shell makes quite a noise when it hits.

There are several things that just make the tank handling a bit weird.

De-pbo any of the missions using them (for example Paras which has both sounds for BLUFOR and OPFOR) inside the DAC folder are the scripts I've setup for my I44 missions, DAC_Config_Creator.sqf has 'DAC_Activate_Sound = true' which then makes any troops generated use the sounds setup in DAC_Config_Sound.sqf.

For full information on how to use DAC consult the user manual included with the standalone download available here.

We're currently looking into the bugs that people are reporting so please make full use of our dev-heaven site, while we won't be able to fix all issues immediately, we will endeavour to fix what we can as soon as possible. Yes it is, but we're having issues with not being able to use any of the I44 grenades or demo stuff, other than that it works fine.

While the mod may work with ACE2, it shouldn't be considered compatible, we've not designed them to work together nor done much if any testing on it with the two mods loaded at the same time.

Nope there are other ways to use those sound files, if you check our public forums there's a sample script that can be used for pre-placed troops as well on at least two topics there.

I believe they know what weapons have bayonet lugs, it's just they didn't give it to the rest and use the Ka98/M1 Garand as a more 'test bed' to see how it works out. I believe they'll add more if everyone loves the bayonets and such but currently I think the feature is just in a testing phase :P

Before they even said they know other weapons had'm but just didn't add'm yet ^^; At least the first part is -MY- understanding :o -Hopes he's somewhat right lol-

Ah ^^ Read it wrong. I was just coming off on how there were, priorly, people complaining about how the Springfield didn't have one or other rifles that did XD Mmk then ^^ Ignore what I said.
