ArmaII update 1.0 - 1.09 error

Hi all, I reloaded my pc installed armaII downloaded 1.0 - 1.09 patch ran install and get error. Error found in file addons\missions.pbo (5ff37c10=0ab4bcba)

Downloaded 4 ver of the file ( they all extract fine ) from different sites and get the same error. Ran install and IGNORED error and when i run the game it says 1.09 but cant connect to any 1.09 servers ?

NO MODS INSTALLED

Never had this problem before with patch's or beta patch's Cheers for any tips.

Uninstaled and reinstalled on a different drive didnt get the same errors, but got 2.

Any help !

Sounds like faulty HDD or ram. Get tools to test your hardware.

Hi, I downloaded the 1.0-1.09 patch and install it to my main drive but after running it, I got an error saying I didn't have ArmaII installed. So I downloaded it to the drive where I have it installed but I got the same message!

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

It runs everything else with no problems and Arma 2 ran fine but since i reloaded the pc im getting the above errors when i try to use any patch in ArmaII or OA.

sorry for qstn obvious things, but you sure there is no arma2 running in background[got similar error in that case months ago] ?

also some antivirus force check anything they got, including Arma2 and patch[ie locked from modification for some time, after last access in result].

do you run patch under system administrator privileges ?[right click-->"Run as Administrator" in Vista/7]

Nothing running in the backround releated to arma, Iv disabled spyware doctor & nod32 still getting errors, Allso tryed 1.02 patch from a clean install = error

Installed game again got 1.09 patch again and just got

Im the only admin on the pc, Tryed right click admin = same error

I tryed to install the patch in safemode = same errors

A mate is gonna drop in his dvd and i'll install from his one to see if theres any difference?

1. damaged install, full reinstall needed (usually solves all issues)

2. rights issues (try start patch via "run as administrator")

3. not enough free space on target / temp / os drives

4. cpu/memory problems (overclock, hw failure)

5. some anvivirus security suite in way

1. Installed about 6 times install goes fine, Runs fine at 1.0

2. Same errors.

3. 17 gig free on OS, Installed game 467 gig free

4. Nothing overclocked.

5. Disabled them and tryed to install in safemode = errors.

Just done a uninstall, ran PC registry cleaner, Regedit removed Arma2 ArmaII, Bohemia and deleted my user setting in my docs

Done a clean install ran 1.0 = fine, then istalled OA that tryed to patch to 1.06 from the OA dvd = errors aborted that.

Ran OA 1.59 update = fine.

So is the Arma2 dvd ? corrupt im still trying to get a mates dvd. Ta for the help.
