sachel\'s sound mod and 1.4

If I upgrade to 1.4 will the sound mod still work if I reinstall it, or will the config.(cpp)? file need to be changed to upgrade?. I don't know if I could stand the orginal sounds now that I have the new ones. The first time a tank went roaring past it was unbelievable!!

I don´t recommend using the Soundpacks 1.30 config.cpp with the latest patch, as it´s likely going to screw up your 1.40 installation.

I *hope* the 1.40 config.bin will be decoded soon, so i can update it accordingly with links to the soundpack.

There will also be a re-done version of the soundpack, with many new and improved sounds, as the original release was for testing purposes only, meant as preview/beta.

You'll have to put the config.bin back to upgrade. But afterwards I've reinstalled the soundpack, and everything works fine here. Haven't tried for much time, but didn't notice anything screwed of at first site.

I really wanna see more sound mods!

That way I dont have to keep editing missions to include addon units that just have a good sound.

The default sounds need to be changed, so any mod is great - the worst sound in the game? automatic_cannon.wss

don't have an actual link, but go back a few pages here in the addons forum and you'll see some threads on Satchel's sound mod with the links in them. I think there is one titled as mirror sites so it shouldn't be too hard. Hope this helps.
