BI Developer's Blog: An interesting new entry

Recommended Posts

Red is the standard color on the BI page, blue one is changed, I assume on purpose, to #1b57b1.

Red: Russia

Blue: OTAN

So, Russia vs Otan fighting on seattle using an md-500 without guns. :D

By going here: http://md5-decrypter.com/

BIS must of used that site to encrypt the URL, so when you go to decrypt it, the website checks it's database to see if there's a match and it will give it to you decrypted.

By 'offline' he probably means that it shows nothing. See the source, the title actually is 'offline' ;)

Great, the one site I tried always claimed it didn't make any sense :)

My guess is it's either an expansion with Russian stuff and campaign

I notice quite a few of BI's staff are watching this thread at the moment. :)

I love all the errant speculation that's going on, even though it should be quite clear by now that this definitely has something to with helicopters...

Well the phrase "take on/taking on" was persistent throughout their little puzzles, and with the URL it seems to suggest that Take On is a title (or part of one). Unless it's another puzzle (which is doubtful at this point), it's starting to look like it could be an entirely new project that is independent from ArmA 2. Words like "sharper" and "focus" are also implicit to me of a new genre. Seems that it will still take place in the "Armaversum" though.

With the acquisition of the other studios I wouldn't be surprised to see yet another new game from them that's unrelated to ArmA. I mean there is still no explicit link between this announcement and ArmA 2. It's still only speculation; we'll know for sure tomorrow.
