BI Developer's Blog: An interesting new entry

Recommended Posts

Hehe, the date that comes next week really is something we should consider! :)

Btw. "Sense" in German means this:

sense.jpg

So much for Farma. :D

April 1

Arma 2: Reinforcements is set to be released in April, as far as I know it does not say anywhere April 1st.

I really hope there wont be any April fools day jokes, I am so tired of those.

:bounce3:

)rStrangelove;1882348']Maybe it just means the ArmA2 team is moving into a building in Seattle.

Doubt it, but that would be so cool :D

North might make sense too, considering that n set as a link. But the guy pointing west on that google page is quite a hint, I would say.

Spoiler for the PMC campaign, don't read if you haven't finished it yet:

A man pointing west from Seattle, and a red dragon, I think it's going to be related to China. There are Chinese in PMC, it would fit well within the setting (yeah I know it isn't really a red dragon, but it sure looks like one on the street view picture).

Hopefully, whatever it is is aimed squarely at taking the piss out of whatever our friends in Britain are "working" on.

Its written

sense
, with a marked n, right.

N is the 14th letter of the alphabet and stands for snake. After the greek, the Etruscan civilization took over the letter and it was based in what we call Italy nowdays.

I think we can expect italian forces alongside greek collegeous in the next installment.

They recently talked about going Steam only, now Seattle...

My bet is it's Steam related.

Fully modelled seattle in a DLC with every building unique to the city as like real life... would that not be awesome :D.

Might get 5 FPS... but it would be awesome? Right?

Evil russians in the space needle killing your troops with sniper rifles!

If you look north on that google street view, you see a link to lcd64bit's photo stream on flickr. He seems to do a lot of architectural photography. I don't know if this is a lead or what.

edit: His photo stream seems only to be pics of Seattle so I don't think it's really going anywhere.

Maybe the clue is in the name:

SHARPER FOCUS LCD & 64bit ;)

Joris-Jan van 't Land is a BI senior designer so expect the blog report to be graphic engine related imho.
