roguetrooper 2 Posted March 21, 2011 It would be great if you could step on higher level objects with the step-over-animation. (Higher level = more than a normal stair that you automatically can step onto, but not higher than your hip/femur).
CarlGustaffa 3 Posted March 22, 2011 You can step over fences that goes all the way up to your waist. Enough for me.
roguetrooper 2 Posted March 22, 2011 But you can't step upon a platform that goes all the way up to your waist (or knee/femur). Quite unrealistic that such kind of things are unpassable obstacles. You can only overcome obstacles of such a hight that are as thin as a fence or wall.
wolfbite 8 Posted March 22, 2011 Yeah a better climbing abilaty would be nice especially for special forces....
CarlGustaffa 3 Posted March 23, 2011 Sorry, misread that entirely. Yes a climb anim would be great for appropriate objects when stepover command is used.
JojoTheSlayer 35 Posted March 24, 2011 I wouldnt mind having a sprint animation for getting over fences and similar. So you dont have to stop. Basically a sprint towards object and if you are sprinting when you press the "get over" button you take a forward knee high short jump where you push off the fence when its under your foot. Basically you just jump high enough to get, usually your left, foot on top of the short fence or similar to push the rest of your body over it and get over. Its not really jumping the fence, since you are more walking or stepping over it. With average strength you are able to do this in combat gear. With full recon gear I wouldnt really risk my knee that way...
