Insurgency ACE - COOP/PVP 24 - Swedge

Is it possible in the next release to remove any man portable TWS weapons, My clan have been hosting ACE Insurgency/Merc for over a week now with the objective of clearing all sectors before destroying the caches, which locations are noted, and all public players that seem to join pick up the M249 TWS everytime, so just image 10-15 people all running round with the same gun..... also that with the combination of the the Mk19 CROWSS it just makes the mission feel terrible...

An extra addition with an ACRE compatible version would also be great.

Please take the above as constructive criticism, ace insurgency is probably the best gamemode out there to date, its just very frustrating when your team are using M4 CCO/Holo's and we have rambo's with the belt fed TWS monsters in other teams running around....

Glad to say thanks by this edition it made my job easier, Scripted in the IED & Ambient Civilian & Vehicle system from 0.80 and made ACRE COMPATIBLE ( I maybe will release a version when I've fully tested it, It works perfect just that I got custom units & Custom base etc etc

Is there a version of this with recruitable AI, I cant play online so this would be great.

Hey man, love your work, but with the Fallujah Insurgency I cant pick up Intel and can't clear squares with either 1 or 2 players...

This is the ACE version im talking about. Any ideas?

Haven't played the ACE version yet but assuming it uses the same setup as the original Insurgency, you will need to

edit the parameters in the description .ext, or just change the parameters when ingame before mission start.

Maybe its set to 3 player or more cant say, I'll check it out myself.

Weird the parameter to clear a square says default is 1.

maybe a bug, or something else.

Maybe the squares aren't clearing because theres still enemy in them.

I'd like to know the exact (server-side) dependencies, is it merely

@ACE

@ACEX

or do I also need

@ACEX_RU

@ACEX_USNavy?

doesn't need RU or USNavy, but you might need CO as there is an M1014 without the eotech in the weapons

I put this mission in the editor, added US marines, and no enemies spawned on the map? Please help, I really love the marines and I really love this mission.

Where exactly did you add the marines?

If I'm not mistake you have to change this line:

I just took the US army units and replace them with us marines and the enemies didn't spawn.

No, those are the names ingame for the roles, you need classnames which allow you to add those roles to the game.

I'm going to guess that these are the marines your using:

the end extension of the classname will tell you what the role is for ingame, for example:

bink_usmc_rifleman --->this would be a rifleman :)

and this:

bink_usmc_gl---> would be a grenadier hence gl is grenade launcher.

How do you know the enemies didn't respawn?

Can you list the classnames for the Bink marines?

I'm saying the opfor bots didn't even spawn at all.
