Shatteredciv 10 Posted March 9, 2011 (edited) The splash screen is messed up and low rez as well now. Any idea what could have caused this? It was fine yesterday - then like I said a couple CTD's and now this issue. What's going on, and does anyone kindly know how to fix it? [frl]myke 14 Posted March 9, 2011 Since my magic crystal ball is in service it would be nice to have some details, you know, the usual irrelevant stuff like used hardware, used drivers, game version, ingame settings, driver settings......you know, the stuff no one ever tells when requesting help. No driver changes etc. Literally 2 CTD's back to back and now the game looks like shit. For what's it's worth to you however - i7 920 @2.67 GHz, 4 GB DDR3 RAM, ATi HD 5870. CCC 11.2. ArmA2: CO with both DLC expansions patched to version 1.57.76815. Windows 7 Home Premium @64 bit. All settings - except Video Memory (which is set to Default) set to Normal. VSync is Enabled. 1920x1080 Interface and Texture Resolution. Edited March 9, 2011 by Shatteredciv
[frl]myke 14 Posted March 9, 2011 Did you checked the temps? It sounds like a overheating problem.
Shatteredciv 10 Posted March 9, 2011 Average 47C on both GPU and CPU. ---------- Post added at 06:05 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:51 PM ---------- Fixed it. For some reason - probably the last Dreamscene I loaded - my CCC Mipmapping settings dropped from Highest Quality down to Performance. Situation back to normal now.
