Description:

A mission environment aiming to simulate the tasks represented in some documentaries from BBC, National Geographic and such (e.g. "Ross Kemp returns to Afghanistan".

With around twelve tasks scattered across Takistan, the players will be dealing with small-sized missions aiming to improve presence in the territory, secure areas where the insurgents might still strike and reinforce their relations with the local population.

Features:

- COOP 27: BAF and US Army forces, 1 BAF 8-men squad and 1 USArmy 6-men squad, each with two pilots available for CAS operations. 1 Section Leader US Army team, 3-men (Leader, Medic, Designated Marksman)

- Many small, relaxed and fun tasks, no big, demanding operations

- Lots of parameters to be tweaked, ACM, Group Markers, First Aid, 1st Person outside vehicles, etc. etc.

- Lots of ways to perform the same task

- Random elements that make the mission fun to play over and over again

- Great for training new players

- Realistic, documentary-style atmosphere in some of the tasks

- IED Detection and Disposal script v1.5RC8

- James' Advanced IED script tweaked to work with the IED Detection scripts suite

- Gearing scripts that make it easier to avoid hours choosing weapons

- SR5 Tactical "UAV Reloaded" Script: non-aggressive, fully MP compatible UAV support

- ACRE radios available in a dedicated crate (customizable in the parameters) for clans that use the ACRE mod

I've used ACE v1.9RC2 maybe that is the reason.

EDIT: Update to v3.3!

- CHANGED: BAF soldiers now use Land Rovers (gimme love, 5 Scots!)

- CHANGED: Possible IEDs scattered all around the map

- CHANGED: I forgot what else I changed.

What is a triggerman?

A triggerman is a unit that can trigger a bomb remotely (using a cell phone or similar tools).

With this script a triggerman will start to "fear" enemy units (e.g. BLUFOR soldiers) when they get into a determined radius. The triggerman's fear will build up if an enemy soldier keeps the triggerman targeted in his crosshairs. Keeping a triggerman under your crosshair will give you a good chance to prevent him from touching the bomb off. If you take the crosshairs away from him he will start to take adavantage of the situation (depending on how much he had been kept under guard). Once the triggerman feels safe about it and if he notices potential victims around the bomb area he will trigger the bomb.

When a triggerman triggers a bomb he goes into a "surrendering" position and shouts: "Allahu Akbar!!". This gives anyone roughly around 1 second to shoot the motherf*cker down. If he dies before the touching the bomb off, the bomb will NOT explode but it will be still considered a potential threat and will require appropriate disposal from an engineer. After having detonated the bomb or after having his bomb defused by an EOD, the triggerman might flee the area, start to fight or surrender.

Love the sound of this mission (based off reputable sources) but my squad don't run ACE (:o I know). So any chance of a ACE-free version? We do have BAF though :D
