About Us

2nd Battalion, The Parachute Regiment is a realism unit for ARMA 2: Operation Arrowhead, simulating a virtual war and military environment using ArmA and representing 2nd Battalion, The Parachute Regiment. We are a realism unit for the ARMA 2: Operation Arrowhead. We are a ever growing unit with plans of expanding into new games in the future. We have Para's from the United States, United Kingdom and Europe.

We use a unbiased promotion and reward system not seen by almost the entire realism community based of a factual point system. We promote very slowly and responsibly. We ensure each Para is overly prepared for any rank they hold or attempt to gain in this unit. We take the Para traditions to an unseen level in online gaming communities average efforts. And most importantly, we regard our name with pride and duty as to not embarrass those who fought for the 2nd Battalion, The Parachute Regiment. In short, we are a very proud realism unit. Each of us has earned our Maroon Beret where most have failed.

Recruitment

If you are looking to join the battalion, we advise you speak directly to our recruiter 2Lt Campbell and from there you will be advised on what to do to joining the battalion. Please dont hesitate to use our forums to look around and get a feel for the place if you are thinking of joining.

We use teamspeak 3 as our voice communication client, this is a requirment, download teamspeak3 from www.teamspeak.com/?page=downloads To keep our teamspeak 3 server looking clean, tidy and proffesional, all we ask is that you login to our server with an appropriate nickname. Once registered into the battalion, you will be required to change to you rank and surname.

We have a 2PARA for arma 3 if you want to join forces with us we'd be happy to have you aboard

2nd Battalion, the parachute regiment (2PARA)

We a British realism unit and are currently recruiting.

The training is true to life and utilizes mods do so and Pegasus Company has been recreated. Members to do and after that members earn the ability to wear the maroon beret on training and on operations.

We are willing to work with other units as long as they have a similar amount of realism.

Members and Recruits are expected to follow chain of command but respect all members equally. If you think you’ve got the qualities to become PARA and want to be part of a group of professional but players who you can still have a laugh with join us!

Right now we want more pathfinders all specialisation’s are now open again such as marksmen, medics and gunners.
