about PMC and the british people

Recommended Posts

Hello, Im having troubleshooting with the the PMC and british "forces" expansion part.

I bought the combined ops at best buy and after passing OA i wanted to try the pmc and the british forces. So i went to direct2drive and bought both of them and installed them. The thing is, that nothing has changed. The only things that have changed is when I click on the PMC icon at the first screen it says ARMA II and underneath it, it says Private Military Company. I don't notice new missions or at the armory i cant see new units either.

Help?

Oh and I did try to look for the answer myself on the forums, but I don't think there's a search bar...

This is really the wrong forum for your questions, they should be in the general section.

But to answer your question there is an editor with all the units and weapons, you could easily plop down a player with an ammo box for BAF or PMC and shoot away.

or create a squad of enemy somewhere give them a waypoint and you in a squad and then engage them.

Sounds like you installed it right, so if you dont see them then there probably aren't any.

Also dont mess with the mods, follow the rules, ask your questions and leave it at that.

Both BAF and PMC come with new SP Missions and Campaigns.

If you go to the SP Mission selection you should have two entries on the right side:

British Armed Forces...

Private Military Company...

Doubleclick on them gets you to their SP Missions.

The campaigns are called "Operation Crimson Lance" (BAF) and "Operation Black Gauntlet (PMC).

If you don't have any of them, then probably you haven't loaded the two DLCs with ArmA2. If that's the case, right click on your ArmA2 or Combined Operations icon and select Properties from the menu.

In the target line, move to the end of it and if it's not already there add:

-mod=BAF;PMC to the end of the line. It must look like this then:

<installation path>\arma2oa.exe -mod=BAF;PMC
