Didn't check the topic lately, sorry. Fair enough, conceptual stage qualifies for saying it's in the work too. :) No stress, it looks like I myself will be rather inactive in June too.

Hey Team SEPTEMBER 1939 MOD, without a doubt your efforts will leave many of us sleepless for many nights to come once this mod is released.. so a pre-emptive “thank you†now, as I may not feel the same way once we start playing ;)

Huragan, thanks for placing the hope in the team.

Content-wise there's nothing really new to show. Work is being done by our teammembers or external contributors on some new Polish and German vehicles and weapons (but I did not check with the authors lately, so don't really know how far they are).

My time is rather limited this month and try to use it for polishing the mod. Literally. :)

Each model (finally!) gets a supershader (naturally, if there was a _smdi/_as/_nohq missing before I'm doing it as well _ I admit, sometimes a placeholder just to produce the rvmats and test various fresnel values).

A tedious task and I'm not even done with the 1/5th of our inventory yet, but am steadily going in the right direction (I hope).

Once I'm done and happy with the results each model will have to be modified and 'divided'. So far they only have one shader per each, but obviously buttstocks, foregrips will need to have a _dt of wood, wheels - rubber etc. etc. I can't even start to imagine how much time this will take :P

Great weapons there Topas!

I'm wondering if you have already have some custom hand anims? I read a bit back in this thread that Smookie was doing them for you, but since he's a BIS dev now I thought maybe there is a lack of an animator now.

Since Abs, who asked the question here, recently agreed to do these (Smookie was there for just a brief period of time; could not consider him a real member or contributor as he did not really deliver anything beside WIP screens - besides, he was was meant to do vehicle driver/passenger anims*) I'll just let you guys come to an agreement on this one. Abs has all the files needed ( latest .p3d weapon models and some pictorial reference). If you, Lennard, feel like relieving Abs here, please feel free to. Dunno if he'll be happy to return to his 7TP/Vickers/C7P assignement... I don't want and like our staff to work on something they feel they worked enough lately on and being pushed. If Abs decides the hand anims would be a good change from the armor - he'll do it. If he feels the ST stuff should provide enough "change of scenery" factor there though.. It's only up to him to decide.

Anyway; so I do not seem like someone not delivering anything on his behalf, but just ordering people around... Initial WIP shots of the mighty Panzerfaust for IronFront-Liberation'44;

Managed to do the markings just yet..If time allows I'll go forward with weathering, scracthes and materials soon.

* no harsh feelings here - the fault was ours ... at the time he did take these on we were still scaling models to the historical reference (extremely hard to get, so it took as a longer while....), he did get fed up with us not being able to decide eventually...

I recently got ArmA 2, and started looking at some of my old models (the ones I also sent you). Don't have the texturing figured out yet but I've started making some models a bit more hires (Hs.123 for example).. Some should be pretty much ok in terms of model, just need to be able to use the new ArmA 2 features and new textures.. Will see what I can come up with :)

Just another suggestion - are you thinking about in including in mod the folding bicycle?It can be realesed like folding MG-s in others mods, like in I44 or CSLA by backpucks and createvehichle. Yhe using bicycles in WW2 - one of the not so famous sides of war, and, IMHO, it's can be one of the "new streams" of this mod.

The German horror genius created even this wunderwuffen;)

In fact we had several discussions about bicycles before, it was just a very long time ago, before you joined, Abs.

THX-1338, your point is valid and indeed bikes were heavily utilised on bothg sides, the 'wunderwaffe' shown is nothing we see for the first time, as we were already thinking of including similar variants of bikes for MG and Mortar teams;

Petrtlach, FW200; thanks for the info; I will come back to everything related to the mod when things in RL go quiet; atm I'm moving and this turned everything upsidedown ;)

Paranormalny, maybe you're having a paranormal life; we at the other hand have normal lives, a small percentage of which this (and other hobbies) is ;) one has to work sometime and provide for his family you know.

Well, there hasn't been much progress from my side recently (as Topas said, 'normal' life - I'm recently very busy in my new exciting work). But I think I can show some of WIPs of my earlier work which consisted in creating some environment objects for Wola Gułowska map.

Note that the screens are rendered in Blender using its materials with shaders and normalmaps which are not yet 'translated' into Arma rvmats.

I've got some buildings in progress as well but so far nothing fancy enough to show off ;)

1 turret Vicker is important due to 47mm QF with max 3200m range gun (most powerfull from all PL tanks).

As far as the Vickers goes, there are plans on including it in the mod. It'll just be a modified 7TP, which was based on the Vickers.

Plying ARMA till this time totaly made me mad . Especially history mod pojects like this as a mission maker in my group:-)

Your 7TP is masterpeace. I have played many hours with this tank but Hotchkiss is much stronger in close combat due to 34mm hull against 17 mm and powerfull turret with 45mm agaist 15mm 7TP

and 2X more ammo inside in any fight. 7TP had 2X better 37mm (longer) AT boffors wz36 gun with max range 7100m against 2100m short SA18 (3 less kinetic power). All was useless agaist PZIV front

and even side armor...

If you will need precision data for hulls penetration points and type and number of ammo - i can help You with pleasure.

Hi guys, i can help with the sound part of the game. i found IR: Lib1944 lacking in good sound. im a reenactor so i work with german weaponry. just tell me what sounds you want eg MG34, K98, P38, P08 mp-40, the lot
