ACE 1.8 (Advanced Combat Enviroment) for OA/CO

I am the person in question like STK said.

I have the steam version where it says ArmA2 and ArmA2 Operation Arrowhead.

I got SixUpdater installed along with Addonsync but still no result.

What do i need to do to get Acre and JayArma2Lib working??

It's difficuilt to explain here what it all says but i can't be that hard to install it on the steam version.

I have no combined ops option either.

I just double click the OA selection then I'm presented with a menu that allows me to choose whether I play OA or combined ops.

sorry this might be a noob question but after a search I could not find out why NVG dos not work when looking through a scope?

I should have said night vision instead of NVGs.

Anyway, I ask because you used to just press N ...

In OA you can only enable night vision on weapons with night vision scopes.

Which weapon with night vision scope isn't working according to you?

Most sniper rifles dont seem to have nightvision .. or at least not by pressing N.

Example: the AS50. Although I am sure it is there somewhere :confused:

Sickboy, a simple question for you...... Is it possible to NOT enable the Ace Wounds and the GForce effects but keep the rest of the ACE goodness?

Wounds: Don't place the wounds module nor enable it by script.

Disabling G-forces is not supported. But you can at least assign Crew Protection (which Pilots normally wear) to other units.

Dose this Mod take into consideration of firing AT launchers in building?... I.e Not to be done unless your using the new AT4 CS or AT4 CS AST!

Just seen what backblast dose to a person when an AT is fired in a room, I know the A.C.E has shock wave and backblast from Heavy weapons and launchers when you are close or behind the firer, Just wondering if they included effect to firers when in buildings!

Yep sure does I have found out first hand I picked up the wrong AT4.

I don't think ACE knows whether you're in a building, but if there is a large object behind you, the backblast will rebound and cause injury or death. An there will always be a wall behind you if you are standing in a normal-sized room.

The RPG-7 only requires two meters of space behind the tube, so it's an effective system.

Am I missing some thing? Javs do lock in ACE and you can all so toggle TOP attack and DIR with the TAB key.

i mean locking everytarget like in real life so you can aim at buildings etc.

Hi guys!

Are there any attempts to make the missiles slower? Especially AA missiles and Stinger etc.?

I think that would add more fun and longer airfights.
