Hello dear BIS Community!

What battle/campaign/Sceen would you like to see for the BURMA ISLAND?

This question is specially for you British players out there because this is for the British army campaign in Burma we are making.

?[/b]

British didn't play well in the battle of Burma. Suggest you to add chinese troops which joined those brutal fights there from the very start and later, they really beated Japanese. Those troops are the elite units from the chinese army.

Thanks, but i'm sticking to OFP ATM to finish my last Roman mod :)

Those WW1 indians units suit to OFP but i'm afraid they won't fit to ArmA2, but i'll give you anything you want if you need them. I made some WW1 Aussies too.

Very nice,

Is it me or is the scale off? Seems awfully big?

If it is true to scale. I really feel for the crew of that hefty momma XD

On the Screenshot you see the Japanese Mortar, we used it for an Test with the Marines.

The Japanese Mortar was more or less a copy of the American one.

This Picture shows the American 81mm Mortar

And this shows the Japanese one

Never realised it was so big, Nice work.

Would definitely not want to lug that around under fire.

Just finished uploading the lowquality version of Rockhounts initial 20gb monsterfile from 08/28/11 HiC Event hosted by FHW -

jFg7Pn_LEYk

This is only the second round where we played coop.

There´s no PvP footage from the 1st round. What happened in the swamps stays in the swamps!

Our main goal is now to try to get the first release of Hell In The Pacific out before the end of this year. We have no date. And it will be done when its done.

But hopfully this year.

We are working very hard everyone in the mod team at the moment with the mod.

I'm sure you guys have plenty on your table as it is but I recently started working on a B-25B Mitchell, for nothing other than practice modeling really and because I'd never made an aircraft before. So depending on what types of scenarios are planned to be made, and if one hasn't already been created for the mod, I'd be willing to give you guys the model when it's done and make some textures for it, can't do more than that though. Probably will have it mostly done in a week or so, not working on anything else. No idea how long the interior will take me to make, depends on finding references. If the team is too busy for it, just let me know anytime.

Sounds awsome Jdog, can push the B-29 to the bottom of my might do one day list ;)

Curious though are you going for the glazed nose or stuffed with guns?

The B-25B has a nose gunner, it's not the one with a solid nose and a bunch of fixed guns. So yea glass nose. It's the type used in the Doolittle Raid. Still working on the larger components but there are a couple WIP pics on my blog (linked in signature).

3P Model should have only around 16k Tris and only one 3P Texture 2048x2048 + max. 256x256 window texture with alpha opacity.

You thing you´re able to do this, i hope so :p

The marines had already got their ammo vests, now the Japanese mortar crews have got an appropriate transport option for their mortar rounds as well: two versions of the new Japanese mortar ammo box:

Also, thanks to the guys at Invasion 1944, especially Macolik, we now have a melee system in HiP!

Stab the enemies with your bayonet! I have adapted it a bit for our use, and it is available for the Arisaka, Garand and Carbine at the moment, with more to come.

---

And finally, we have just set up a developer's blog at hellinthepacific.blogspot.com.

Pay us a visit, maybe you can find the odd new W.I.P picture over there :)

Cheers,

D.
