Squad XML not working?!

Recommended Posts

Im having a hard time getting this to work...

I remember this worked before OA but now I just cant get it to work... I have 2 profiles in-game and they both have the same ID (I guess you cant change ID between players)

On http://sh2.armatechsquad.com/ I have one player with the player ID found in my profile in-game.

I can see that the player have joined the right squad:

http://sh2.armatechsquad.com/squad/player_Sniper-C.xml

http://sh2.armatechsquad.com/squad/army_DeadEcho.xml

I have tried using both links in the squad box in the in-game profile but it is not working.

Ideas?

Strangly when I created the player on armatech I typed in the name Sniper_C since that is my in-game name but that was automatically changed to Sniper-C. I dont think that is why since im pretty sure the player is identified by the ID.

I think the name also have to be correct and if have copy/paste in the url in the squad url box ingame you may also have copyied a space in either before http... or after then it wont work and that space is not visibel try to retype in the whole url adress again and see if thats helps you

Your nick in the Squad.xml must match the nick you are using in game.

You will get some of your details up if you don't, but the clan image and squad name will not appear on units. Bear in mind that not all units have a squad xml display. Best way to check is start your own LAN mp game, create new in editor and place a C130 with you as the pilot. The logo display doesn't get any bigger than that and you will see straight away if it works. If you make changes, reload the game and test again.

Just speaking from personal experience with the xml.
