Homes have been lost, water supplies compromised and infrastructures destroyed. You are taking photographs for a news service, traveling alone, looking for particularly poignant scenes. You come across Yassir Arafat who has been swept away by the flood waters. He is hanging on to the branch of a tree and is about to go under. You can either put down your camera and save him or take a Pulitzer prize-winning photograph of him as he loses his grip on the branch. You want it close up enough to see the terror on his face, but far enough away to get some good torrential flood backgroud scenery in. The Israeli's would probably name a holiday after you. I certainly dont love Yassir Arafat, but he is after all one of the key ingredients of a future peace. No Arafat - no peace. Comments/jokes like that only serve to prove that you can't hold a decent debate - in my opinion. But of course, there are lots of people here that find your joke funny. When I come to think about it I believe some of them might have been upset when some forum members said President Bush was an idiot. Ok, I'll calm down now. So when all the world leaders get in a room and start helping eachother insult Arafat, they'll become friends. And peace will be assured until those leaders are voted out.
