Inisible Platform

Heya guys... again.

I've taken a look through the forums and I can't say that I've found anything of use... mainly because I HAVEN'T found anything of use, but hey.

What I'd like to do is create an invisible platform for a helicopter to rest on while it's over sea, engines off. I've created a destroyer and put a helo on the back but for some reason (I'm guessing that the game de-clutters itself and erases the destroyer until it's needed again) the helo gets destroyed by falling in the water. I've gone back there once it's been destroyed to see the wreckage under the draft.

Can anyone help me with this?
