(and of course to all the nominees as well) :bounce3: I tend to agree though with what most people are saying here that there may need to be some sort of reforming of the categories/voting procedure for next year though or you'll likely just keep getting the exact same people/groups being nominated and winning year after year after year which currently seems to be the case. It risks making the community feel narrower than it is and people may start to lose interest or question the whole relevance of community "awards" at large. Just something you need to watch out for imho. mondkalb 1087 Posted March 4, 2011 The results are not surprising. Next year's award selection process should be more objective than the past ones. Missions that get released early this year stand no actual chance of winning this Award. Same goes for the submissions to the video-category. Also I'd advise that the Addon/Mod-categories should be split, otherwise single addons will never stand a chance against ACE other mods. I'll end here and save my rage for some other occasion... While I agree the awards may need a bit of a rehab, as some people say the categories are pretty broad at the moment, I still couldn't be happier to have the honor of winning a category in this competition. Also congrats to all the nominee's and also thanks to those who didn't get nominated but provide great community assistance or mission/mod products; all together make up for this communty! killjoe_R3F 60 Posted March 6, 2011 it should be divided over many more categories: not sure it is the solution to these "little pb". it could become a bit complicated if so much catégories... the categories should be the same but with no possibilities of be nominated 2 following year for example. ACE is a huge success, everybody knows that for 3 years, and congratulations for sure ...
