OutbreakeR 0 Posted May 7, 2002 ... to have a "coop" mission editor? So u could make missions with two or three of your friends?
ALDEGA 0 Posted May 7, 2002 Don't really see the point of it. Making a good mission requires more than 5 minutes. I doubt your friends will want to make a mission for two hours
Dawdler 0 Posted May 7, 2002 X- "Hey, lets place a player here" Y- "No, he should be over there" X- "Here I tell you, that works best" Y- "No it dont! THERE!" X- "Hey, I want it here, I place it here!" Y- "Youll ruin the whole mission you idiot!" *player unit keeps going back and forth over the screen depending on who grabs it first* X- "HEY! It dissapeared?" Z- "Yeah, I deleted it, the player starts up here"
Satchel 0 Posted May 7, 2002 You can do this without needing further Editors. There is also a huge collection of MP coop missions available for download on various Flashpoint sites, if you want to create your own missions i suggest you start making yourself familiar with the OFP Editor and it´s various commands. The best site to start with is http://www.ofpeditingcenter.com, it has many tutorials, a forum all about editing, as well as mission and unit download databases. Mister Frag 0 Posted May 7, 2002 I think Satchel is referring to the ability to do collaborative editing using existing Remote Control solutions. I don't think BIS should waste any time on an editor that allows collaborative editing, there isn't enough demand for it to make it worthwhile.
N.o.R.S.u 0 Posted May 7, 2002 And in MP you can always give some tips & hint's to admin who edits the mission, but if it would work properly it would be very interesting addon.
