06: From Hell Bug

I seem to have a problem I haven't been able to solve, and I haven't seen any other posts relating to it on this forum, or Google.

At mission start on From Hell, the Objective 'Locate the Pilot' is a failure within the first 2-5 seconds, every time I attempt to play it. It has prevented me from progressing any further in the campaign. I can barely start the Humvee's engine before the mission fails.

I attempted to replay the previous mission to ensure I was shot down, so 'Renegade' could be captured, in case that was a trigger for the next mission, but no no avail.

I am running version 1.55 currently, game is running off of Steam.

Any help would be appreciated.

I mean if anyone knows some sort of Console code I could use to auto complete the level or something, that would be fine with me. I just don't want to be forced to miss the rest of the campaign for no reason.

Left Shift + Keyboard Minus should enable the console, then type ENDMISSION and hit enter. It's been a few months since I used it, but I think that's right. I don't think the console is visible.

same bug here...but i discoverd a solution:

just switch the time-speed to x2 and x4 and back to x1 before that guy starts talking.

you have to change it pretty quickly and repeat it like 3 or 4 times.

you might have to try it some times...
