Fields of War: Normandy 1.00 and beyond WIP thread (formerly The 31st Normandy mod)

Recommended Posts

We removed nearly all of the armor, and infantry. Right now were in the process of making all new weapons, infantry, and armor.

If your waiting on our work to be released, it will be done when were satisfied we have something the community can be happy with.

Here are some WIP pics of our M1919A4. In the images you can see we are building both a bipod and tripod version. We are also making one without. In addition we are adding vehicle mounts.

Our weapons build-up continues...

Could you give us some shots of the other side, meaning; the one with light shed on? I'm interested in how your approach to texturing looks, as I'm struggling with several handheld textures for some time now.

Not that I'd like to copy your style or anything, maybe just looking for inspiration ;)

PS: Is there a list of weapons to be featured?

I'll shoot you with it after it's released. Then you can see how it looks!

;)

As far as texturing is concerned, I'm a spray-n'-pray type artist! Lots of layers for lots of fixing! :o

Lists? I don't like typing much. Maybe later.

The one guy x's seven core members are working on weapons and armor at the moment. And yes they are fully capable of downloading any mod they wish. They don't need my permission.

Where on the 1944 Normandy map can I find Paris/London? I've flown all over and I can't find it, but I know it's out there.

Hi Welcome to BIS forums.

The first page should tell you what this mod and thread is:

Fields of War: Normandy 1.00 and beyond WIP thread (formerly The 31st Normandy mod)

Hell in the pacific is a mod all in itself, not related to this.

Theres also Invasion-1944 if your looking for a WW2 mod, but the download for this mod (formerly The 31st Normandy mod)

http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=9729

hope that helps.
