A2+OA+BAF No Sound.

I am hoping someone can help.

I am having issues with my ArmaII at the moment. I don't seem to getting any sound from the game. This issue has occurred pre & post patching and has been existent for around 5 days.

I have isolated the issue to only affecting ArmaII which leads me to believe it is a software issue either with the game or a setting in my operating system (Windows 7 Ult 64x). Multiple headsets & headphones tried, in front and back ports - Same result.

Re-installation of ArmaII has been tried with issue still occuring (with and without addons)

Audio settings in ArmaII are at 100%.

Anyone had this issue before?

have you tried to redownload the BAF patch there was some error in there but could never hurt to try :) have you checked volume settings and is volume at more the 10%, do you use any mods? so in all other programs no problem|?

Volume = 100% - Confirmed

BAF Patch - Downloaded and installed numerous times (although issue started pre patch)

Issue occurs with and without mods.

All other app's work without issue.

last thing i can think of is resetting the valeus in the game to default but i gues thats also been tried. maybe you can have a look at the player profile (docs folder):

should have thse kind of values

volumeCD=1.304904;

volumeFX=1.2063419;

volumeSpeech=1.2391968;

volumeVoN=6.5;

Still didn't work.

Again for clarification - Arma II is the only application affected and this has been an issue since BEFORE latest game patches (by about 3 days)

Sure Windows is not set to mute the game? Click on the speaker icon in the system tray (Icons by the clock), then click Mixer. Scroll to ARMA 2, and make sure it's not muted, and that the volume is turned up.

have you installed latest DirX drivers?, Have you deleted your Arma 2 config as well before reinstalling Arma2?

Yes I am very sure, I am not a total bafoon.

I have updated all drivers on my machine and issue persists. Please help!

have you tried the : delete your whole config folder trick? and reinstalled latest soundcard drivers? what card is it btw? does it have a sound console maybe its set to digital out for games?

I am experiencing this as well, but it is sporadic. I use Steam. I'm sure a fix will come out soon.
