Arma 2, Debian Lenny: Server Trouble (V1.55)

OS: Debian Lenny

Game files: taken from steam (in the common/armaOA directory)

Server version: 1.55

Mods: none

Server command: ./server -name=standard -config=server.cfg -cfg=basic.cfg. Please also note: these problems still happen when running the server with ./server and no configurations specified.

* Description

Problem: Users get disconnected as soon as they click continue on the initial map screen. I first started noticing that this happened after attempting to install custom maps, but I removed all the custom map files and the problems never went away. In fact, I actually removed the entire directory on my server and uploaded the 7 gigs again and continually get the same error.

Mission Attempted: One shot one kill

I have no other errors or relevant information (that I am aware of) that I can provide to debug this phenomenon.

Update: I've opted to delete all files associated with OA from both my windows machine and my server. I will redownload all files via steam and then reupload all files and attempt to reconfigure a vanilla install. If this doesn't work I will post another update.

Update: From a fresh install and using a vanilla ./server I STILL cannot get clients to connect properly. I attempted to play One Shot One Kill again and was once again booted as soon as I clicked continue from the map screen. My console output is as follows:

OS: Mandriva 2010

Game files: Uploaded from my backup installation: ver. ArmA² 1.08, ArmA²-OA 1.55

Server version: 1.55 Linux Beta

Mods: @stmovement *disabled*

Before I had patched the server install, I downloaded the Linux 1.55 Beta, extracted it and installed it. None of the Benny's Warefare missions would load, they did the same thing yours is doing. Then I pulled them out, and tried a default mission, most of them loaded but A-LOT of errors. So I deleted the directory on the Mandriva machine. Patched up my backup install, and transferred it over to the Mandriva machine. Then re-installed the 1.55 Beta.

Now missions load, only a few disconnects ( most internet players ), not a-lot of errors in the log, but more than a few.

Also netlog provides more information than the server_console, maybe too much. But, provides more than server_console.

Oooh, I also configured arma2oaserver.sh, and use it to launch. As well as, re-nice the PID.

*EDIT* I'm not using Battle-Eye, I just noticed in your log.

Update: the problem is battleye. As soon as I disabled it everything started working fine. I have yet to try to reupload the custom missions, but at least I can connect now. Are there any solutions to this battleye problem?

there was just released update to BE client

is this still happening (e.g. You pretty sure it's problem with BE server ?)
